How To: Mass Upload Photos To This Blog
Blogger makes it really easy to upload a couple photos to a blog (including this one). However, uploading 10 or more can take alot of time. By following these simple steps, you can mass upload any number of photos quickly and easily.
Before you start, you need to download and install Picasa, which you can do at this url: http://picasa.google.com. Picasa is a program that allows you to manage the photos on your computer, as well as upload/share them online, at this url: http://picasaweb.google.com. Little did you know, you already have an online account at picasaweb, because anytime you upload photos to Blogger, they are actually added to an online album on picasaweb. Your credentials are just your Google credentials.
Step 1) Open up Picasa. Browse to the photos you want to upload to the DeArton Photobank.
Step 2) Select all of the photos and click on "Web Album" near the bottom of the window
Step 3) Select "Create a new web album" and "Unlisted". Click "Ok". This will upload all of your photos to picasaweb. Now we need to get them into the Photobank.
Step 4) Single-click on the "Generate" link below, and drag it onto your Bookmarks Toolbar (usually just below the address bar), or, if that doesn't work in your browser, try right-clicking on the link and selecting 'Add to Favorites'.
Generate
Step 5) Go to http://picasaweb.google.com and open up the album that you just uploaded to. Your screen should look something like this:
Step 6) Click the Bookmark that you got from Step 4 while on picasaweb, viewing the album. You will browse to a new page with a bunch of text in it. Just select it all and copy it to your clipboard (ctrl + c)
Step 7) Go back to the DeArton Photobank and create a new post. Paste (ctrl + v) the text you got from Step 6, and Publish Post.
Thats it.
